A beautiful medium-difficulty hike from Horní Mísečky through Vrbatova Bouda to the spring of the Elbe River. From May to October, you can reach Vrbatova Bouda by bus from a stop just 150 meters from Rebelka, or walk a 4.5 km asphalt road (suitable for strollers and bikes). An alternative is a slightly shorter and more scenic forest trail, which branches off from the asphalt road. From Vrbatova Bouda to Zlaté návrší (1,400 m above sea level), a 3.5 km ridge trail leads to the Elbe spring, offering views over the Labský důl. Near the spring, you can refresh yourself at Labská Bouda and complete the loop by heading around the Pančava Waterfall. The total loop length from the Rebelka chalet is approximately 14 km. Taking the bus to Zlaté návrší shortens the loop to 7 km.

Horní Mísečky is the newest part of the Špindlerův Mlýn ski area, featuring 27 km of slopes divided among the centers of Horní Mísečky, Medvědín, Svatý Petr, and Hromovka. Horní Mísečky is an ideal spot for those seeking peace and skiing on gentler, wider slopes. A newly built four-chair lift takes you to the top, Medvědín. At the upper part of the slope, there is a fun trek with moguls, waves, and banked turns, while in the middle section, the Burton Snowpark offers terrain for jumps, served by a separate lift. At the bottom of the slope, you will find a ski/snowboard school and a rental shop for winter sports equipment.

By far the most popular and largest cross-country skiing area, with 64 km of groomed trails for both skating and classic styles. Most trails start at the Stopa bistro, where races for all age categories are regularly held. For the most part, you can ski on flat terrain all the way to Benecko. More challenging uphill sections for cross-country or, better yet, ski mountaineering await on the route to Zlaté návrší, from where you can continue, for example, to Sněžné jámy and complete the loop by descending Medvědí důl back to the Medvědín lift.

Warmer days invite you to explore popular tourist destinations or enjoy mountain biking. You can head to Zlaté návrší (bus service available from May to October), then continue to the Elbe spring, Labská mountain hut, or Pančavský waterfall. Other great spots include the children’s playground at the top of Medvědín, Dvoračky, Harrachov lookout, or the Svinské peat bog. If you want to trade the peace of the mountains for the lively atmosphere of Špindlerův Mlýn, take the 3 km downhill hiking trail to the bobsled track, rope park, or indoor swimming pool with a water slide. To return, you can use the Medvědín cable car from Špindlerův Mlýn, which operates all summer and also transports mountain bikes.
